Newmoon is a specialist insurance underwriting agency who aim to bring you market leading insurance products.

Our first range of products include specialist musical instrument insurance policies, boiler insurance and warranty products. We serve both the direct consumer and the general insurance professional.

Music Insurance

The company was founded by a former senior manager of Allianz Insurance who was also a Director of British Reserve Insurance in 2009.

We come with a pedigree of experience of insurance and empathy with musicians (many of the Newmoon team are musicians themselves and all are insurance experts!). Therefore we understand the importance of a cherished instrument to the player and the need to insure it properly

The Newmoon team plans to bring an innovative new approach to musical instrument insurance. We believe we have market leading policy cover and  wordings which are designed to meet the needs of musicians at very competitive prices.

Boiler Insurance

Our products have been designed for oil fired boilers. We have developed these products with specialist partners in the industry.   


Our music and boiler products are backed by Am Trust Europe Limited.

Am Trust Europe Limited (formely known as IGI insurance) were established in  the UK in 1975 and are part of AmTrust International Insurance Limited (A.I.I). A.I.I has an A.M. Best financial rating of A- and a Standard and Poors rating of a- excellent. That means that AII is a secure insurance company.
